Leonia Holistic Destination,Hyderabad

Leonia was my first visit on business..the layout is different from the routine..the staff was positive and cooperative..assisted in conducting our program..the food was excellent..the drive through the city is shorter, however I recommend the ORR, longer but without any traffic hassles..may get a better insight after a longer stay..looking forward to that, stayed for three nights with my family and it was really a great experience.New year party was awesome.The resort is very peaceful and place full of greenery(must for nature lovers).The waterpark was also amazing.

The Golkonda Hyderabad

This is not the first time I stayed at this property but for the first time I was very acutely aware of the noise pollution in the vicinity of the hotel.The location of the hotel in fact is both a plus point and at the same time a negative factor for the hotel.It is in fact very centrally located business hotel , access to the airport is just 1/2 an hour away, access to the centre of town is maybe about 15 mins away.The reception and lobby are fairly spartan nothing fancy maybe in keeping with the business tag. The check in has always been quick,I found the staff to be quite helpful as always but despite the fact that occupancy was nowhere near full, they booked us into a room overlooking the flyover and the noise levels were unacceptably high.The management seriously needs to do a rethink by installing sound proof glass in those rooms facing the highway else they would surely loose clientele on this account.The breakfast spread was quite adequate .

I would still recommend this hotel with a rider to prospective guests to specially ask for rooms away from the main road.

The Windflower Resort and Spa,Pondichery

 have travelled before to Windflower resorts so expectations were high when our families visited Windlfowwer resort Pondicherry. We were 5 adults and 4 children staying for 3 nights. Food was excellent and so was the general amenities provided by the resort. the main attraction was the beach - barely 50 metres walk from the resort. They also had kids area, some farm animals like ducks- making it quite attractive for the kids. Rooms were excellent- offering private gardens; spacious set-up, clean and functional. only complaint was outside of the rooms when we stepped towards the dining area or the main area, there was always some smell- due to some treatment plants closeby. the resort needs to do something about it. also the resort needs to plan more events - when families are around. they did have some events, but very basic. ofcourse staff was supportive and arranged for cabs/ guides to go around and also conducted some small events where kids could enjoy, could they do more, YES ofcourse

The Sunway GRT Grand Pondicherry

Arrived at Pondicherry from Mahabalipuram. The receptionist was very nice and pleasant. Check in was a breeze and the welcome drink they served was really tasty. The hotel itself looks nice but the rooms are pretty average but thankfully clean. Bed and towel were new so no complaints there. Had dinner at their restaurant which served good food but service was really slow although there were only about 2 other occupants at that time in the restaurant. However, the waiter went out of his way to get us the same drink served as welcome drink although they dont have it at the restaurant. Kudos! Only issue we had was we were not able to connect to wifi and when we went down to ask the reception, it was a different guy than the one who handled our check in. He was exteremely unhelpful, and rude too. He just shrugged when my husband told him we were unable to use the wifi and then completely ignored him. Too bad we didn't get his name.
